Dominique Vernier is currently Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat. working on thenAdvanced Cloud management software based on Kubernetes and Openshift.
Dominique has an extensive career in IT, working across multiple industries in a variety of roles. Prior to joining Red Hat, he worked for IBM and other national and international companies such as LogicaCMG, Texaco and Caterpillar in roles ranging from developer to IT project architect, responsible for leading development teams.
Dominique moved from IBM to Red Hat in 2020 to continue working on Advanced Cloud Management software. He joined IBM in 2008 to work on SOA and cloud technology. He specializes in cloud deployment automation and API usage, and has created productivity tools for use by cloud developers as well as a number of YouTube training videos on IBM Cloud Solutions. He also holds several patents around Supply Chain Logistics, Disaster Recovery and Impact Analysis.
